Nick Adam presents “Our Life”
On display: July 7th - August
Location: Pop-Up Art Loop Program, 202 South State Street (State & Adams)
In the words of the artist, “Life as I see it, is a collectively growing experience birthed by history. Your and I’s daily events are ever exponentially evolving upon all that which has preceded. Each occurence is part cause, part effect and part chance, part choice in randomly fluctuating ratios”.

The Chicago Urban Art Society presents the work of Nick Adam, an artist whose work is heavily based in design, typography and the current aesthetics of our daily lives. “Our Life” is an installation inspired by deco-letters/illustrators of the 1920s-30s made entirely out of cut paper and paint. The intensity of color, scale and the illustrative manner of the work brings viewers within the ideas of connectivity in culture that Nick Adam aims to explore with this piece.
This exhibition is made possible with the support and work of the Chicago Loop Alliance’s Pop-Up Art Loop Program. To learn more please visit: http://www.popupartloop.com/.
